Admissions Process

A student is admitted to
St. Barbara Schoolafter a grade appropriate assessment has been administered and activereport card grades (available at the time of testing) are evaluated.Birth certificates, baptismal records, immunization records, and otherpertinent legal documents are also required. Acceptance is based uponresults of the assessment, satisfactory report card grades and/orrecommendations from the preceding school. All students entering St. Barbara Schoolare automatically placed on first quarter probationary status. Eachchild's adjustment and progress as to academics, conduct, effort, homework completion, and social achievement will be evaluated after thefirst quarter to determine continued membership in school. Academic andsocial progress must indicate satisfactory achievement.

Itis of utmost importance that parents agree to actively support thespiritual, academic, volunteer and fund-raising programs of the school. It is also important that parents remember that their support of theschool, especially in regards to prompt payment of tuition and awillingness to volunteer is a prerequisite to re-registration and acondition for continued presence in the school.  The school may denyre-admission to any family delinquent in tuition or who has not met thevolunteer hours requirement.  In addition, failure to support thephilosophy, objectives and policies of the school may also result innon-admission.  If volunteering is not possible because of timeconstraints, an additional financial assessment will be added to thetuition statement.
