A student is admitted to St. Barbara School
after a grade appropriate assessment has been administered and active
report card grades (available at the time of testing) are evaluated.
Birth certificates, baptismal records, immunization records, and other
pertinent legal documents are also required. Acceptance is based upon
results of the assessment, satisfactory report card grades and/or
recommendations from the preceding school. All students entering St. Barbara School
are automatically placed on first quarter probationary status. Each
child's adjustment and progress as to academics, conduct, effort,
homework completion, and social achievement will be evaluated after the
first quarter to determine continued membership in school. Academic and
social progress must indicate satisfactory achievement.
is of utmost importance that parents agree to actively support the
spiritual, academic, volunteer and fund-raising programs of the school.
It is also important that parents remember that their support of the
school, especially in regards to prompt payment of tuition and a
willingness to volunteer is a prerequisite to re-registration and a
condition for continued presence in the school. The school may deny
re-admission to any family delinquent in tuition or who has not met the
volunteer hours requirement. In addition, failure to support the
philosophy, objectives and policies of the school may also result in
non-admission. If volunteering is not possible because of time
constraints, an additional financial assessment will be added to the

Tuition may be paid in 1, 2, or 10 payments. Direct debit is required.
Each family is required to raise $500 in profit during the school year. You may buy out for a charge of $500.00 per year or add $50.00 per month with your tuition. Fundraising may be completed through carnival raffle tickets, gift wrap/catalog sales, chocolate drive, other Parent Association fund raisers, or Scrip purchases.
Each family is required to complete 25 hours throughout the school year (15 hours for single parents). You may buy out for a charge of $625 per year or $62.50 per month added to you tuition ($375 or $37.50 per month for single parents). Service hours may be completed by working at school events and fundraisers, helping in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, driving to sports events, assisting on Parent Association or School Consultative Board committees, or donating food, drinks, copy paper, school/office supplies, or computers.
TESTING FOR ADMISSION
All students must be assessed for proper grade placement prior to admission. In order to schedule testing, you must first complete the following steps:
1. Complete an application form. You may complete the online form by clicking below or contact the school office if you cannot use the online form.
2 Submit the required documentation. You will receive a documentation list when you complete the online form or come to the office.
3. After completing steps 1 & 2, you will be scheduled for testing.
