Since religious education is an integral part of a faith formation, St. Barbara School provides time for religious functions. Students attend 8:15 AM Mass weekly on their designated day.  School liturgies are prepared monthly by teachers and students and participated in by school staff and students.

Students have the opportunity to prepare special liturgies. These may include student body Masses, prayer services, Stations of the Cross, the Living Rosary, scripture readings and meditations.  Reconciliation is offered twice a year for each grade level.

Students in second grade and up,  who have been baptized and receive instruction in the School Sacramental Program, are eligible to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist.  Baptism is also offered to those students in need of this sacrament.  Sacramental programs are coordinated with St. Barbara School and the Parish office.
